Winter & Christmas at Camp Nelson Lodge
Camp nelson lodge just had its first snowfall of the season
It was like a Christmas card at the lodge with snow clinging to the large cedar trees surrounding the meadow like, snow covered lawn.
There were 36 guests staying in the 10 comfortable guest rooms. Home-made hot soup for lunch and traditional Christmas dinner were served in the dining room. A leisurely breakfast was served while viewing the scenic snow covered mountains. It is relaxing and cozy inside the lodge while looking out the large picture windows.
The Collin family, staying at the lodge for the weekend enjoyed games, laughter and good conversation, a Christmas program with plenty of family talent, and some friendly competition of Christmas Gingerbread houses. The children built a great snowman complete with scarf and gloves. The children also had a small bunny hill run for sledding.
