Historic Camp Nelson Lodge

You and your family are cordially invited to experience a mountain vacation. Come and refresh your family ties and enjoy one of God’s Sierra creations in the Giant Sequoia National Monument area.

After a spectacular drive with vistas of high peaks and rock formations along the Tule river gorge, you will arrive at Camp Nelson. The historic settlement is the location of a classic mountain lodge.

Make yourselves at home in the guest accommodations a few yards from the main lodge. The aromatic Cedar trees are unmistakable as you step from your car. The atmosphere is clear & refreshing. There are mountain views surrounding the entire lodge.

The ambience at the lodge is casual, yet classic. The comfortable rooms available to guests have been recently redecorated. There are electric fireplaces, heavenly beds and small refridgerators for your convenience. Some of the rooms have adjoining rooms available for larger families.

Upon request, your day starts with a continental breakfast. Afternoon tea can be reserved for guests on request. There is also lunch with sandwiches, hot fudge sundaes, and homemade pie served in the Ice Cream Parlor at the Lodge.

Many activities are available for you and your family at or near the lodge.
There is a mountain café, grocery store & gift shop across the road from the grounds.
The lodge is available for exclusive family get-togethers with partial or full catering, if pre-arranged.
